The President of the Republic returned to the bad weather which devastated several villages in the Alpes-Maritimes, in a live interview from Saint-Martin-Vésubie, and broadcast in the 20H of France 2 and TF1.
Emmanuel Macron, who was visiting the valleys of the Alpes-Maritimes, announced that the state would put
"several hundred million euros"
to rebuild.

President Macron had already announced during a press point from Breil-sur-Roya that a fund was going to be created to rebuild and that the State was already going to put 100 million euros.
"There will be more than 100 million, it will be massive,
then added the president in the 20H of TF1 and France 2.
I already wanted to put these 100 million euros quickly. We will certainly put in several hundreds of millions of euros, maybe in the end it will be a billion ”.
