Today, the Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the registration of 2,776 new cases of Coronavirus, the highest daily toll in the country.
The Moroccan News Agency quoted the Ministry of Health as saying that “the death toll from new infections with the new Corona virus rose during the past 24 hours, by 2776 to reach the level of 140024 cases since the outbreak was monitored on March 2, of which 19443 are considered active.”
The ministry added that it had detected 29 new deaths from the disease during the past day, bringing the number of pandemic victims in the country to 2,439, bringing the lethality rate to 1.7 percent.
The Ministry of Health stated that it recorded 2,788 new recoveries, bringing the number of people recovering from the Coronavirus in Morocco to the level of 118,142, a recovery rate of about 84.4 percent, and the new daily toll represents the largest increase in Coronavirus infections in Morocco.
