Then 325 days since the last game of the Argentine National Team -breaking 2-2 in a friendly against Uruguay, on November 18, 2019-, those led by Lionel Scaloni will return to the ring and will face Ecuador this October 8 in La Bombonera and Five days later, they will face Bolivia at the height of La Paz, for the South American Qualifiers towards the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

The coronavirus pandemic not only paused the activity of the soccer teams, but also suspended the competitions around the world.

Depending on the health situation itself, each league enabled the championships at different times.

While the Bundesliga resumed on May 16, the Argentine tournament has yet to start.

That is why the soccer players summoned to the Albiceleste team arrive with different realities, especially the representatives of Argentine soccer, who accumulate much less filming than their peers, given that they only participated in three matches of the Copa Libertadores.

Here is a review of the performance of each of the 28 footballers on the payroll after the international stoppage as a result of the pandemic: games played, goals, assists, expulsions and more.

Since the return of football after the stoppage due to the coronavirus pandemic, Emiliano Martínez, 28, has played 16 games;

13 of them were with the Arsenal of England shirt, while the last three were at Aston Villa, where they came in exchange for 17.5 million euros.

In total, he conceded 14 goals and kept six fences unbeaten.

Esteban Andrada and Franco Armani reach the South American Qualifiers with much less filming than their peers, since the Argentine championship has not yet resumed.

Both played only three matches corresponding to the group stage of the Copa Libertadores.

While the Boca goalkeeper did not receive any goals in any of them, the River goalkeeper scored three goals and kept an undefeated fence.

Finally, Jeremías Ledesma, 27, was summoned at the last minute to replace the injured Juan Musso, who suffered a torn internal meniscus.

The former Rosario Central, who was loaned to Cádiz of Spain for one season with a purchase option, started two games (on October 1 and 4) and only scored a goal in one of them.

He arrives in Buenos Aires on Friday and will only be available for the second game, against Bolivia.

Since his arrival at Sevilla, Marcos Acuña played two games and one of them was the draw against Barcelona of Lionel Messi.

Before, with the Sporting Lisbon shirt, he had played six.

In none of them did he score goals or give assists.

Another who changed clubs was Nicolás Otamendi, who went from Manchester City to Benfica.

Under the orders of Pep Guardiola he played seven games (in one of them he entered at minute 89).

The remainder corresponds to his debut at the Portuguese club, where he achieved a 3-2 victory against Farense despite starring in an error that became a rival goal.

For his part, Nehuén Pérez, 20, ended his loan at Famelicao de Portugal, where he played seven games, and arrived at Atlético de Madrid with the illusion of winning a place.

However, upon the closing of the transfer market, he was loaned to Granada, from the same league.

In Spanish football there is also the 22-year-old Juan Foyth.

With no place at Tottenham, the former Estudiantes came on loan to Villarreal, although he still could not add minutes with his new club.

Meanwhile, Gonzalo Montiel represents Argentine football in the defensive sector of the Argentine National Team.

The right-back was a starter in three matches of the Copa Libertadores and provided two assists.

Another of those called up played alongside him: Lucas Martínez Quarta, who this week migrated to Fiorentina in Italy, in exchange for almost 13 million euros.

Nicolás Tagliafico, 28, has defended the Ajax Amsterdam jersey in three games since the start of the Netherlands championship.

Lastly, Facundo Medina, who joined Lens de France from Talleres de Córdoba, started from the start in the first six Ligue 1 games and scored a goal in a 3-2 win over Lorient.

In addition to Otamendi, Acuña and Paulo Dybala, Sevilla footballer Lucas Ocampos also traveled with Messi in his private plane, which landed in Ezeiza this Monday at 9:15 p.m.

Since the restart of the competitions, the former River exhibited an incredible performance: six goals and two assists in 19 games, including an Olympic return after beating Inter 3-2 in the final of the Europa League.

Another who achieved a great performance was Alejandro Gómez, who scored five goals and provided eight assists in 16 meetings with Atalanta.

The numbers are even more surprising if you look at Papu's first three games at the start of the Italian league: four goals and two assists.

From Serie A, Nicolás Domínguez, 22, with 12 games and one assist in the Bologna jersey, and Rodrigo De Paul, 26, with two goals and four assists in 14 official matches with Udinese.

On the other hand, Alexis MacAllister (two goals in 11 games with Brigthon) and Giovani Lo Celso (two goals in 14 games with Tottenham) came from playing in the English Premier League.

However, only one of them will be available for the matches against Ecuador and Bolivia, since the former Rosario Central suffered a muscle injury during training with the Argentine National Team.

Scaloni did not call anyone to replace him.

Leandro Paredes, from Paris Saint Germain, played eight games (in one he entered at minute 90) and received an expulsion, in the controversial discussion with racist overtones between the players of the Parisian team and Olympique de Marseille that ended with five red cards.

Eduardo Salvio is the only representative of Argentine football in the midfield of the National Team.

El Toto was one of Boca's great figures in the restart of the Copa Libertadores, with three goals in the same number of games.

From LaLiga de España, he joined the Argentine team Guido Rodríguez, who played 13 games with the Betis shirt and scored a goal, in the 3-0 win against Osasuna.

For his part, Exequiel Palacios has yet to earn a place in Bayer Leverkusen's starting team and has appeared in just four games since the restart of competitions.

In the first three dates of the Bundesliga he remained on the substitutes' bench and did not add minutes.

The roster is completed by Lucas Alario, who has three goals and two assists in 11 games for Bayer Leverkusen of Germany.
