Will the supporters of the animal cause succeed in going to their end, that is to say ringing the hallmarks of traditional hunts in France?

This possibility does exist with regard to the bill (PPL) relating to animal welfare tabled by the parliamentary group EDS (Ecology Democracy Solidarity) on August 25 and debated this Thursday in plenary session at the Palais Bourbon.

In fact, in its initial version which includes only six articles, it is written in this PPL:

“Article 4 prohibits hunting with hounds and equivalent hunting practices, as well as so-called traditional hunts.

Hunting with hounds is a cruel practice because the animal is hunted for hours under conditions of significant stress and until exhaustion.

Unlike other types of hunting, it does not help regulate certain animals in excess. "

Other types of hunting are also in the crosshairs such as glue.
