The National Rugby League on Thursday formalized the postponement of the Castres-Brive match to a later date, due to several cases of Covid-19.
On Wednesday, the Tarn club revealed that there had been 11 positive cases for Covid-19 within its CO workforce.
“After the revelation of 3 positive cases on October 1, the CO saw its match in Montpellier postponed to a later date.
Unfortunately, after the tests carried out on Monday, he was led to notice the presence of 11 new positive cases within its workforce and consequently an active circulation of the virus, ”the club said in a press release on Wednesday.
Training had been suspended until Friday, the positive players having been in isolation.
