Czech MP in the European Parliament, Ivan David, criticized the European silence regarding the aggressive expansionist policies of the Turkish regime led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
David said on his Facebook page: "Despite the Turkish regime's transfer of mercenaries and terrorists from Syria to Azerbaijan and its involvement in the ongoing war there, the leaders of the European Union did not face these actions except by expressing their concern, as they did during the Turkish invasion of Afrin and other areas in Syria."
For his part, the former head of the Czech Military Intelligence Service, General Andor Chandor, affirmed that the Turkish regime poses the greatest threat to Europe at the present time, noting that this regime “does not hesitate to enter into conflicts with any party when it feels that this matter is in its interest.
In an interview with Parliamentary Papers website, he added that what the Turkish regime is doing towards his country, Syria, Libya, Cyprus and others represents a dangerous trend, stressing that Erdogan still dreams of reviving the defunct Ottoman Empire.
