Regarding the risks of obesity and its relationship with breast cancer, Arbash showed that it has great risks to health, as it leads to an increase in the percentage of "leptin cytokines" in the blood, which makes breast cancer more resistant to treatment of all kinds, in addition to that it affects the metabolism of cancer cells, noting that studies It proved that obesity reprograms the cells of the immune system to enhance the formation and spread of cancerous tumors in the breast. On the contrary, exercising regularly for four hours during the week contributes to reducing the incidence of this type of cancer, according to the report of the National Cancer Institute.
Dr. Arbash noted the awareness activities and events that take place during the month of October, "the pink month" to spread awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer and to introduce the need to pay attention to food, sports and mental health in combating diseases in general and raising the body's immunity.
