The Estelle Mouzin affair returns to the fore.
Monique Olivier, soon to be 72 years old, will again be heard this Friday, October 9 by Sabine Khéris, the investigating judge in charge of the Mouzin case since the summer of 2019. Contacted, the lawyer for the ex-wife of Michel Fourniret, Me Richard Delgenes, did not respond to the

In November 2019, the Mouzin affair rebounded spectacularly when Monique Olivier contradicted the alibi that “the ogre of the Ardennes” had always put forward for January 9, 2003, the day of the girl's disappearance.
In March 2020, the septuagenarian gave his first confession, declaring to the judge:
"I recognize there a being who is no longer there by my fault"

In August 2020, another hearing of Monique Olivier gave a new leap to the investigation.
The native of Tours said her former husband kidnapped, kidnapped, raped and killed Estelle.
Statements partially corroborated by the discovery of a trace of partial DNA of the girl on a mattress in the house of Michel Fourniret's sister, located in Ville-sur-Lumes (Ardennes).

Two trips before the end of the month
Will this Friday's hearing be as decisive as those of November 2019 and August 2020?
Me Didier Seban, one of the advices of Eric Mouzin, the father of Estelle, hopes so.
“Lately, we have seen a change in attitude of Monique Olivier: she speaks, finally.
However, she was careful not to incriminate herself.
Will she say more today?
There are still a lot of gray areas.
Was she present?
Does she know where Estelle's body is? "
Finding the remains of the little girl is Eric Mouzin's priority.
“My client expects nothing from Michel Fourniret and Monique Olivier, he doesn't want to depend on their goodwill to find out what happened to his daughter.
On the other hand, he expects everything from justice.
He wants the investigations to continue and to be told where Estelle's body is, ”
the lawyer told

The hearing this Friday is only the beginning of a new sequence devoted to the Mouzin file.
Before the end of October, the ex-spouses - or Michel Fourniret only - should be taken to Guermantes, a small town in Seine-et-Marne where Estelle disappeared on her way home from school.
A second trip is then planned to the Ardennes, where the girl's remains could be found.
