Twenty works of art inspired by the victories of the October liberation war, included in the photography forum “Anemones,” whose subjects were inspired by the spirit of Tishreen, which carried the values ​​of glory and pride, and reflected the heroics and sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army in the face of dangers and challenges.

The works presented by ten artists and hosted by the Picasso Center for the Visual Arts came in a variety of styles and techniques, so that each artist expresses, in his own style, his pride and pride in the battles of heroism and honor.

The supervisor of the forum, plastic artist Ismail Totenji, indicated in a statement to SANA the importance of continuing the forum and choosing it every year for a national issue that brings together a number of artists to present their visions and ideas about it, providing the opportunity to highlight young talents and put them on the right path in art to support the Syrian plastic movement.

Participation Aya Ismail Agha, a student of the College of Fine Arts, highlighted the importance of the topic that this year’s forum falls under, which allows the young generation to embody the heroic images of the October liberation war, which was transmitted to it generation after generation, pointing to the need for forums that allow young people to go out with their work to the recipient.

Afaf Matarji of Kindergarten College participated in two works, one of which tells about the victory of October and the other depicts the hope that is embodied in the children of Syria, considering the forum a good opportunity to develop skills, learn about the experiences of others and benefit from them, which was shared with Raneem Shahrour from the Faculty of Fine Arts, who participated in a work that embodies the sacrifice, loyalty and loyalty of the soldier. The Syrian Arab stressed the necessity of these forums for their role in discovering talents and supporting them to make their way into art.

Through her participation, Rana Jouna, a student of the College of Pharmacy, expressed the hope embodied by the Syrian Arab soldier and his ability to create victory in all the wars he is fighting, noting the importance of the forum topic and the opportunity it provides for the participants to express themselves and their talent regardless of academic study.

Sarah Halawanji, a teacher of drawing, whose work "The Sunrise of Victory" reflected Syria's ability to rise every time like a phoenix and fly to the broad horizon. She hoped to launch a greater number of these forums so that the owners of different experiences could meet and present them to the recipient.

The forum, which is being held by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Lattakia Governorate, was launched in its first session in 2018 under the title The Wound of a Nation
