The number of new infections with the Coronavirus in France jumped to more than 20 thousand for the first time since the outbreak of the epidemic.
Reuters quoted the French Ministry of Health as saying today that 20,330 new infections were recorded, bringing the total number of injuries in the country to 691,977 cases.
The ministry indicated that the number of deaths due to infection with the virus increased by 109, bringing the total number to 32,630, the largest number of deaths within a week.
