Brazil announced the registration of more than 27,000 new infections with the emerging coronavirus during the last twenty-four hours.
Reuters quoted the Brazilian Ministry of Health as saying that “27,750 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded, bringing the total number of infections in the country to five million and 28,444”.
The ministry added that the number of deaths increased by 729 new cases, to 148,957 deaths.
On the other hand, a ministry official announced that his country had guaranteed the arrival of 140 million doses of the Corona vaccine by the first half of 2021.
