The European continent recorded for the first time more than a hundred thousand cases of corona in one day during the past 24 hours, after its countries witnessed a steady increase in the number of people infected daily over the past five days.
According to Reuters, cases of infection throughout Europe have continued to increase over the past seven days, although the spread of the disease in countries of the most affected, such as India and Brazil, began to recede.
Outbreaks in Europe were concentrated in Britain, Russia, Spain and France, with each country reporting more than 10,000 cases per day over the past three days.
So far, the European continent has recorded 16 percent of the total Corona injuries in the world and about 22 percent of the deaths from the disease. Yesterday, when the daily cases in the continent exceeded the 100,000th, Eastern Europe was the region most affected by more than 33,600 cases per day.
The average daily number of cases in Europe was 78,000 at the beginning of this month, compared to an average of 47,500 cases last September.
