A week after the devastating floods, the electricity distributor Enedis succeeded on Friday October 9 to restore electricity almost everywhere in an emergency, before starting work to rebuild its network.
“
There are still around twenty homes that will be re-supplied on Saturday morning by generators transported by helicopter,
” said Enedis in a press release.

Up to 15,000 homes had been deprived of electricity at the height of the event.
The drinking water distribution networks were also damaged.
In the future, Enedis will have the task of connecting to the network customers who are currently supplied by generators. Repair work will then begin on the distribution network, which was largely taken to the Vésubie and Roya valleys at the same time as the roads.
