Firefighting teams in Homs Governorate are working to extinguish a large fire that broke out today in Burj Al-Maksour forest in the western countryside of Tal Kalakh.
Elias Bitar, head of the Talkakh Forest Department, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the firefighting teams, in cooperation with the people, are trying to control the fire that broke out in the Burj Al-Maksour forest, which includes forest trees of cypress and pine.
On the other hand, firefighting teams, in cooperation with the people, continue efforts to contain the fire, which was renewed today in the woodlands of the town of Hob Namira in the western countryside of Homs.
Yesterday, the Homs Fire Brigade managed to put out a fire in the woodlands of the town of Hob Namira.
