Three men aged 46 to 59 were indicted for "
aggravated procuring
" in Reims (Marne), for having organized dozens of "
violent
"
sexual evenings
, priced without the knowledge of the participants, in the sadomasochistic milieu , said the prosecution on Friday.

Two are considered at this stage "
as the heads of the network
", one for having been the "
tout, organizer and fundraiser
", the other for having made available premises and benefited from counterparts, specifies the prosecutor of the Republic of Reims, Matthieu Bourrette, in a press release.
One of them was remanded in custody.
The second is provisionally imprisoned but the "
debate
" on his detention should take place in a few days.
Finally, the third, suspected of having served as an intermediary, was placed under judicial supervision.
Justice accuses them of having organized "
a minimum
" 150 to 200 parties between 2014 and 2020 - mainly in Reims and the Paris region - in the so-called "
BDSM
" environment - bondage, domination, submission and sadomasochism - during which an adult woman "
had sex without any form of limit as to their brutality (...) with a significant number of men
", and to have benefited from it "
both sexually and financially
".
The customers, generally Reims or inhabitants of the region, “
adults
” and “
socially integrated
”, belonged for the most part to “
rather privileged social categories
”.
The service was set "
between 40 and 800 euros per participant
", according to the prosecution.

Among the seven women identified by the investigators, all recruited by the same organizer, six "
did not know
" that these relations were priced.

One of them lodged a complaint, two others reserving the right to do so,
" said the prosecutor.
"
Some wanted to clarify that they were perfectly consenting to participate in these evenings, which corresponded to their sexual aspirations
", he observes.
The preliminary investigation, born of an anonymous information, lasted more than six months.
Now entrusted to an examining magistrate, it will endeavor "
to assess the extent of the financial gains obtained
", to identify all the participants and clients, but also to "
identify the personality of the accused, of the influence and the ascendancy of which they were capable in the place of these women, and to appreciate the psychological impact
”of the facts on the victims, he concludes.
