A recent analysis of the data showed that the American Midwest recorded the highest daily increase in COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic, putting enormous pressure on hospitals.
Analysis conducted by Reuters showed that states in the region recorded 16,807 cases yesterday, in a record increase, bringing the average number of injuries in the last seven days by 40 percent compared to a month ago.
The number of people being treated in hospitals due to Corona in the Midwest also reached a record for the fourth consecutive day yesterday, as it approached eight thousand, while there are about 34 thousand patients with Corona in hospitals across the United States, the highest number since the fourth of last September.
