According to a media report, US President Donald Trump is planning an event in the White House on Saturday.
Trump will be present in person.
The news channel CNN had first reported on Friday, citing presidential circles.
According to information from broadcaster ABC as well as the "New York Times" and the "Washington Post" Trump wants to speak to his supporters from the balcony on the south side of the White House.
A government official confirmed the media reports on Friday that Trump will speak on the subject of "law and order" in a speech in front of his official residence.
According to his personal doctor Sean Conley, Trump will be allowed to attend public appointments again from Saturday.
It is still unclear whether the White House will prove that the president is no longer contagious.
According to official information, he had tested positive on Thursday last week.
Meanwhile, Trump has postponed his first election campaign event, which was targeted for Saturday, after his corona infection to Monday.
His campaign team announced on Friday that the president would perform in front of supporters at Orlando International Airport, Florida on Monday evening.
