The US Presidential Debating Committee announced the cancellation of the second debate that was scheduled to be held between US President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, Joe Biden, on the fifteenth of this month.
CNN quoted the committee as saying in a statement last night ... that it "will focus its attention on preparations for the third and final presidential debate scheduled to be held on October 22nd."
After the announcement of Trump's infection with the Coronavirus, the committee turned the presidential debate that was scheduled to take place in Miami, Florida, into a virtual meeting via the Internet, but the US President categorically rejected the matter.
The first debate that took place between Trump and Biden on September 30, which was described as "the worst debate in history", witnessed chaos, with the exchange of accusations, insults and personal attacks, which made it difficult for either of them to clarify their point of view.
