The death toll from the new Coronavirus around the world exceeded 37 million and 391 thousand cases, while the total deaths approached one million and 77 thousand, according to a new statistic for the American World Meter website.
The site, which is run by developers and researchers, stated that the total number of Coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 37391558, while the total deaths reached 1,076,184 cases, while the total cases of recovering from the virus have reached 28053796 cases.
The United States of America continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 219058 deaths out of 7930933 infections, followed by India with 108,371 deaths out of 7051543 cases, then Brazil, with 15,023 deaths out of 5073483 infections.
In Britain, the Ministry of Health recorded 15,166 new infections and 81 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours, which brings the total number of cases so far to 590,844 cases and deaths to 42,760 cases.
In recent weeks, Britain has witnessed a sharp increase in the daily infection rate with the Coronavirus, which prompted the country's authorities to impose new restrictions, including working from homes and closing bars and restaurants at an earlier time, which is likely to last for six months, with the aim of combating a second wave of the virus.
