The workshops of the General Company for Roads and Bridges branch in the Eastern Province have started implementing a project to rehabilitate the sidewalks in Souk Al-Jubaila Street in Deir Ezzor City, according to a contract signed with the City Council.
The head of Deir Ezzor City Council, Eng. Raed Mandil, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent today that after completing the maintenance of the road body in Souk Al-Jubaila Street, rehabilitating the sewage networks, water, electricity, communications, rain drainage and laying the asphalt shirt, the rehabilitation of the sidewalks was started under a contract with the branch of the General Company for Roads and Bridges at a value A contract amounting to 15 million pounds.
In turn, the director of the branch of the General Company for Roads and Bridges in the Eastern Province, Engineer Aziz Aziz, indicated that the project includes equipping the sidewalks with reserve stone and “Interlock” stone in the area extending from Al-Intisar Roundabout to Al-Rawda Junction within Souk Al-Jubaila Street, with a length of 450 meters and a width of 2.5 meters on both sides of the road.
