Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin and Bas-Rhin prefect Josiane Chevalier announced Monday to file a complaint, for different reasons, after the holding of an “
illegal
”
show on Saturday by
the controversial comedian Dieudonné.
Dieudonné performed on Saturday evening in a hangar in Geispolsheim (Bas-Rhin), near Strasbourg.
Sunday, in a video of a show posted on his Twitter account, he invited the carriers "
of the Asian virus
" present in the room to go "
to the police station in order to contaminate the police officers
".

Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin denounced "
these new provocations against our police forces
" and announced on Twitter the filing of a complaint.
The prefect of Bas-Rhin, Josiane Chevalier, also announced Monday to file a complaint against the organizer of the show and against the owner of the hangar for "
endangering the life of others
", stressing the danger of such gathering in times of Covid-19 epidemic.
The prefect denounced an “
irresponsible attitude
” in the face of this “
illegal
”
spectacle
which brought together 300 people, “
tight against each other, and a good part of whom did not wear a mask
”.
“
This is a potential cluster.
This kind of behavior destroys all our efforts, it is unacceptable and it is also a deep contempt for our caregivers
”, she concluded.

In this hangar, which is not intended to accommodate the public, everything was closed, there is no ventilation,
" said Laure Pain, doctor at the Regional Health Agency of the Grand Est.

The prefect ordered people who attended the show to get tested, in order to "

General Marc Clerc, commander of the departmental gendarmerie group, for his part announced the opening of two investigations to "
identify all the offenses
" committed during the evening.
