The owner of a shoe store in Tel Aviv closed his business today (Monday) due to financial difficulties he encountered during the Corona crisis.

But instead of selling the remaining merchandise, Avi Sami decided to donate it to passers-by on the spot, scattering the pairs of shoes outside the business on Allenby Street.

"I closed the store because of the corona crisis. The plague brought me to an economic crisis, which then turned into a health crisis and I became epileptic. I could not hold the store and said I would donate the remaining goods," Sammy described the chain of events that brought him to his condition.

He said that "associations asked me to pay them for the transport, so I said that if I do not make a profit - then the people will make a profit, and then there will be a lot of chaos in the area and people will get on top of each other. I decided to close because I can not afford the high expenses. "Not helping with money, but someone giving me a job," he said.

Sami noted that he had reached a difficult mental state, and criticized the government’s conduct during the crisis.

"I'm very angry at the government because no one cares about anyone, everyone there only thinks about their butt. Except for a rift in the people - they have done nothing here."

"I hope someone hears me up there. Let them go down to the people and listen to me. This is the third year I own a store in Allenby, and before that I had a store elsewhere. I do not think twice: it is better to be an employee in the State of Israel, because no one looks at self-employed ".

Sammy concluded, "Today I feel better. I donated my part."
