Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
Today, the Israeli occupation authorities announced a new settlement plan to establish 500 settlement units in the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
The director of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission office in Bethlehem, Hassan Brijieh, told WAFA that the new plan aims to establish 500 settlement units to expand a settlement built on Palestinian lands in the town of Fukin, west of Bethlehem.
In the context of its open war against the Palestinian presence in the West Bank to implement colonial annexation plans, the occupation authorities announced last month a plan to seize hundreds of dunams of Palestinian lands south, east and west of Bethlehem, to establish seven thousand new settlement units and settlement roads threatening to separate the city from occupied Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea. .
