The Milan prosecutor Paolo Storari closed the investigations for illegal hiring on riders for home delivery of food and tax crimes, investigations that, on May 29, had led the Court to order, with a measure never taken before against a platform of delivery, the commissioner of Uber Italy, a branch of the American 'colossus'.

Among the 10 suspects is Gloria Bresciani, as manager of Uber Italy.

The riders, according to the investigation closure notice, were "paid at a piece rate of 3 euros per delivery", "robbed" of tips and "punished".

Removed the position of Uber Italy, under investigation for the law on administrative liability and which on October 22 will have to face a hearing in the Prevention Measures Section.

"In front of an outsider, never say again 'we have created a system for the desperate'. Even if you think so, dirty clothes should be washed at home and not outside."

This is how she expressed herself, intercepted while talking to another Uber Italy employee, Gloria Bresciani, manager of the Italian branch of the American giant under investigation for gang hiring in the Milanese investigation into the exploitation of riders in the 'Uber eats' service.

It can be read in the notice of conclusion of the investigations in which the Milan prosecutor Paolo Storari writes that "the riders were subjected to degrading working conditions, with a regime of wage and treatment abuse, as recognized by the Uber employees themselves".
