Which company do we want to build for the near future?

The usefulness and the very meaning of the set of technologies we call Artificial Intelligence directly depend on the answer that together we will decide to give to this single, simple question.

This is the main theme of the conference entitled

"Artificial intelligence, which ethics for the future - The Italian and European way to innovation"

, organized by the ANSA Artificial Intelligence Observatory and which will be streamed on the ANSA.it website on Tuesday 20 October starting at 4 pm.

AI can transform every sector of human activity, and that transformation is already underway.

From industrial production chains to medical research, from smart mobility to smart cities, from journalism to the Internet of Things, every day increasingly efficient and autonomous algorithms make millions of choices and actions in our place.

It is therefore up to us to define the rules by which they must work, to give a direction to change starting from a precise idea of the future towards which to aim at every level: political, economic, ethical, social.

An enormous task that concerns us all, which must involve every "stakeholder" in a joint and shared effort to build tomorrow.

Because the only way to predict the future is to build it together.

In the year of the covid19 pandemic, lockdowns, economies on their knees and reboots, the development of artificial intelligence does not slow down but rather accelerates.

What is the state of the art of AI?

What are its most promising applications?

What is the impact on society, economy, politics?

Which one on work and employment?

And then, again, what is "human-centered" artificial intelligence and why do we need it?

Is there an Italian and European way to AI?

What help is this technology giving and can give in the fight against diseases, Covid19 in the first place?

The conference organized by

ANSA, in collaboration with Atex, Bosch, Open Fiber, Talent Garden and Volocom Technology,

now in its second edition, aims to answer these and other questions with a narrative halfway between information and training, for the benefit of a varied and diversified audience, made up of journalists, professionals, just curious.
