The Israel Police today (Tuesday) arrested a resident of Beit Shemesh for questioning, on suspicion that for years he had mentally and physically abused and committed serious sexual offenses on all his children and his wife.
The police investigation began following a report received, according to which a resident of the city of Beit Shemesh in the 1940s, committed sexual offenses on one of his daughters.
Police investigators, who began an undercover investigation while carrying out a wide range of complex and sensitive investigative actions, were able to uncover a mask of abuse and long-standing sexual offenses of the suspect - all his children and wife.
The said suspect was arrested today for questioning on suspicion of offenses of mental and physical abuse of the helpless and committing serious sexual offenses on his family members.
Tomorrow he will be brought before the Magistrate's Court with a request to extend his detention.
