Amid the blindness of the international community, the Israeli occupation is escalating its violations of Palestinian prisoners

The Israeli occupation authorities continue their arbitrary violations of the right of Palestinian prisoners in their detention sites, striking at the crossroads of international humanitarian law and all calls for the release of prisoner Maher Al-Akhras after he entered his 80th consecutive day of hunger strike.

While the occupation authorities continue to arrest the mute prisoner without any charge or legal justification, despite the deterioration of his health condition that threatens his life, the Palestinian national action factions in Jenin in the West Bank today called on all human consciences to take actual and serious action for his victory, as reported by the Palestinian Wafa agency.

The city of Tulkarm also witnessed a solidarity stand in support of the Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons in honor of the spirit of the martyr Samir Hamidi, who has been detained by the occupation authorities for nine days. The martyr Hamidi asserted that his detention is a violation of all international laws and norms and the Geneva Convention.

The solidarity vigils were accompanied by vigils, such as those organized by the Prisoners and Editors Affairs Authority yesterday in the city of Al-Bireh in the West Bank, in which dozens of Palestinians participated in protest against the ongoing Israeli occupation crimes against Palestinian prisoners.
