At about 3 pm today (14th), an industrial accident occurred at Phase 3 of the favorable construction site at Queen's Hill Trail, Fanling Army Land. A 44-year-old female worker surnamed Zhou slipped and fell from a 15-meter-high working platform, suffering serious head and hands injuries. Become unconscious.
Ambulancemen arrived at the scene and rushed the victim to the Prince of Wales Hospital for rescue. After preliminary investigation by the police, the case was classified as an industrial accident.
The news stated that the female worker had a broken bone and needed surgery.
The victim was seriously injured and is currently undergoing surgery.
The Association for the Rights of Industrial Casualties expressed that they were deeply saddened by the accident, and the officials of the association went to the hospital to provide appropriate assistance to the families of the injured.
The female victim suffered multiple physical injuries, and the Workers' Rights Association hopes that the injured can get out of danger as soon as possible.
