The Knesset plenum will convene today at 11:00 to approve the peace treaty signed between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

The debate will be opened by Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin, after which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will present the agreement, followed by an speech by Opposition Leader MK Yair Lapid. 

At the end of their speeches, there will be a personal discussion, which was attended by about a hundred ministers and Knesset members.

It was determined that each speaker will be allocated 4 minutes, when, exceptionally, ministers and deputy ministers who are not members of the Knesset will also be able to participate in the discussion.

At the end of the discussion, a vote is expected to approve the agreement.

In a letter sent by Prime Minister Tzachi Braverman to Knesset Secretary Yardena Meller-Horowitz, he stated that the contract stipulated that the parties would recognize and respect each other's sovereignty, and the right to live in peace and security side by side, develop friendly relations between them and their peoples, and settle all disputes. Among them in a peaceful way.
