Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The occupied city of Jerusalem witnessed today a solidarity stand in support of the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons, especially the prisoner Maher Al-Akhras, who has been on hunger strike for 81 consecutive days.
According to the Wafa Agency, the participants in the stand in front of the Red Cross headquarters raised Palestinian flags and pictures of the mute prisoner, calling on the international human rights and legal institutions to urgently intervene and pressure the occupation authorities to release the prisoners.
Today, 60 Palestinian prisoners joined the open hunger strike, which was launched by 30 prisoners yesterday in the Israeli occupation jails, in protest against the ongoing occupation crimes against them.
