The former Quebec producer Gilbert Rozon, tried for rape since Tuesday in Montreal, ended his testimony Thursday by reaffirming that it was the complainant who had "
imposed
" a sexual relationship and not the reverse as she claims.
Following his testimony, the trial was suspended until November 6, when the closing arguments will take place.

Mr. Rozon, former magnate of the group "

", once again contradicted the complainant Thursday morning.
According to him, it was she who "
forced
"
him to have
sex in a residence north of Montreal in 1980 by coming to join him in his bed.
He admitted that he had been '
consenting
".
The alleged victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, offered a diametrically opposed version of the facts.
She maintains that Mr. Rozon first tried to kiss her before raping her a few hours later while she was sleeping alone in a bedroom.
They both knew each other.
The complainant and the accused were respectively 20 and 25 years old at the time of the events.
Mr. Rozon, 65, offered a detailed account of the facts during his cross-examination on Thursday.
After a night out at a nightclub, he says he went with the complainant to a house where they kissed and cuddled around a fire, but assures that he did not go any further as soon as she told him no. .
“
I did not attack her in any way.
When she contracted her legs, I stopped immediately,
”he said, saying that he immediately went to bed.
"It's not true," he replied when the prosecutor suggested to him that he had gone to bed hoping that she would come and find him and that it was finally he who went to her.
He repeated that he woke up in his bed when the complainant sat "
in a trance
" on him to make love to him.

It was something that was forced on me.
I accepted and I was perfectly willing,
”he said.

Look, if I had been an abuser, she sure wouldn't have slept at my house that night.
On Wednesday, Mr. Rozon's lawyers attacked the complainant's testimony, accusing her of having changed her version of the facts over the years.
