A company commander from the Cherry unit is fired after failing to break isolation and causing an outbreak of corona in the unit's training division.

The commander of the Kamdano Brigade, Col. Kobi Heller, presented the conclusions of the investigation to the commander of the "Fire Formation", Brigadier General Ofer Winter, and after a command inquiry with the company commander, the division commander accepted the brigadier general's recommendation to remove him.
The division commander noted that the officer did not maintain self-isolation and thus knowingly put all his soldiers at risk, and deviated from the norms expected of the IDF Lt. Col.
In addition, Brigadier General Winter emphasized the importance of observing the guidelines and orders to prevent the spread of the corona virus given to a verified patient or suspected patient in units, and assuming that the lessons learned from the incident would be conveyed throughout the division.
