Seven people were killed and five others were injured in two separate bombings in western and eastern Afghanistan today.
"An explosive device exploded as a passenger bus was passing in Feroz Kwa district, killing seven people, including two children, and wounding an eighth," the Chinese news agency Xinhua quoted Maherov Ramesh, a spokesman for the Afghan police in western Ghor province, as saying in a special statement.
And in Paktia province in eastern Afghanistan, four people were injured when an explosive device exploded in Shamkani area.
According to official statistics, more than 800 civilians were killed and 2,330 others were wounded by explosive devices that exploded across Afghanistan last year.
