According to the pro-government television station A Haber, the Turkish army carried out a test firing of the S-400 system in the province of Sinop (North).
Other Turkish media have shared an amateur video showing a white streak in the sky.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense refused to confirm or deny the holding of this shooting.
Turkey's acquisition of the S-400s, in a context of rapprochement between Ankara and Moscow, has caused friction with several Western countries which highlight the incompatibility of these Russian systems with NATO systems.
In response to the delivery of the first battery last year, the United States suspended Turkey from the production program for the state-of-the-art F-35 warplane, believing the S-400s could unlock its secrets technological.
Washington also threatened Ankara with sanctions if the S-400s were activated.
Despite repeated warnings from Washington, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly asserted that the S-400s will be deployed.
Ankara defends itself by asserting that the United States refused to sell it the competing American system of anti-aircraft and anti-missile Patriot.
