British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab today expressed his country's disappointment at the backdrop of the European Union’s request to London to make “more” concessions to ensure the completion of the “Brexit” agreement, indicating at the same time that it could be completed soon.
"We are disappointed by the outcome of the European Union," Raab told Britain's Sky News, adding: "To tell us that Britain should make concessions in the coming days is not the right thing in the negotiations and we are surprised by that."
Raab noted that London and Brussels could conclude a Brexit deal "with goodwill on both sides."
The talks between London and Brussels on the future trade relationship between the two sides reached a dead end, amid difficulties facing each of them in putting an end to the commercial cooperation that lasted 50 years after the British decided to secede from the European Union.
