Santé Publique France indicates on Friday October 16 that 25,086 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
The positivity rate now stands at 12.9%.
122 people also died in the same time frame.
In total, 33,303 have died from Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic in France.

According to official figures, 6,906 people have been hospitalized over the last seven days, including 1,204 in intensive care. On the other hand, 136 clusters have been identified since Thursday, bringing to 1,615 the number of clusters under investigation in the country.
834,770 people have contracted Covid-19 in France since the start of the pandemic.
