Rottach-Egern
- Two Asian women recently hit the headlines after driving their Mini on a blocked route to the panorama restaurant on Brauneck.
A similar case occurred on Thursday at noon in Rottach-Egern: An employee of a fuel maintenance company in the Erding district had found himself in impassable terrain with his Hyundai on Wallberg.
As a police spokesman reported, the man first drove over the road from Kisten / Enterrottach to the Wallberg in Rottach-Egern in order to carry out maintenance work up there.
However, his navigation device guided him back into the valley via the so-called summer path, which is unsuitable for normal cars and is therefore actually closed.
Shortly before reaching the valley, the Hyundai driver promptly got off the track in a steep section with the front tire - and got stuck.
According to the police, the Rottach fire brigade had to move in to heave the car back onto the road.
