- I had a long one-to-one interview with Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Corsica in September and I also met Jean Castex for 45 minutes, last Thursday.
This exchange enabled me to make the Prime Minister aware of the political, institutional, economic and social context of Corsica.
Without blackmailing the violence or the crisis, I told him that all the indicators were bright red.
I want to sound the alarm bells because, obviously and more markedly than elsewhere, the economic and social situation of the island is extremely worrying.
And I'm not sure the state has fully appreciated the seriousness of the problem.
We are well aware of the reality of this crisis everywhere in France and in Europe, but my responsibility is to draw attention to Corsica,
