Grandpa talks about the baby who died after falling from a 1:54 cruise ship

The Court of First Instance of San Juan on Thursday accepted the guilty plea of Salvatore Anello for the crime of negligent homicide in connection with the accidental death of his wife's granddaughter.
Anello was accused of the death of the girl Chloe Wiegand after her fall to the pavement from the 11th floor of the Freedom of the Seas cruise ship, in the Old San Juan dock.
In the events that occurred on July 7, 2019 on the boat, the youngest, one year and seven months old, lost her life when the grandmother (husband of the maternal grandmother) exposed her to the vacuum through one of the windows of the boat, allegedly negligent.
The girl fell from a height of 35 meters.
The hearing to read the sentence was set for December 10.
The charges against Anello had been presented on October 28, 2019 by the Secretary of Justice, Dennise Longo Quiñones, the chief prosecutor Arlene Gardón Rivera, and the San Juan district attorney, Víctor Carbonell.
CNN tried to contact José Guillermo Pérez, Anello's lawyer, but has not received a response so far.
