At the beginning of a carnival season, of which nobody can say whether it can be celebrated in any way in the times of the corona pandemic, the Lieselotten rejuvenate their management team.

Erding - For ten years Steffen Schadt was a member of the board of dance sport acrobatics (TSA), the last two as president.

The father of two has now transferred this honorary position to Michael Galler.

The 24-year-old carpenter has been with the all-male show dance group for five years and, with Simon Gotz as deputy, has agreed to form the new executive committee.

The other posts were also filled with young people: Treasurer Christian Woellert and Secretary Valentin Kordick.

“It was time to bring about a generation change,” says Schadt. “We old people are only allowed to perform on sad occasions,” he says with a smile.

The timing is also good because the Lieselotten have recently seen strong growth.

There are currently 18 active members, the club itself has more than 100 members.

The Lieselotten were founded 26 years ago as a subgroup of the Narrhalla carnival society, among others by Detlef Felixberger, Josef Gotz, Jürgen Bieber and Hanno Stanzl-Deffner.

“At that time, people wanted to position themselves more broadly,” says Schadt - alongside the Garden, who mainly come from their own department at SpVgg Altenerding.

The TSA is known on the one hand for its remarkable dances, but also for its humorous appearances.

The Lieselotten have high season at the Narrhalla balls and at the Narrenschranne on Shrove Sunday.

"We also perform at company celebrations, weddings and birthday parties," says Galler.

And it is precisely this field, which most recently lay almost completely fallow, that they now want to cultivate more intensively.

That is why the new dance is already eagerly rehearsed - under the Corona requirements with the proven trainers Vera Krinner and Christine Hagn, the only women in the colorful troupe.

"We pretend that Mardi Gras is taking place quite normally," says Schadt, knowing full well that this case will most likely not occur in the season starting on 11/11.

Because there will be no big balls in the town hall.

Nevertheless, the Lieselotten can imagine a few appearances, either at smaller celebrations, but also at birthdays and weddings.

“We are even planning to appear virtually in front of our audience,” says Schadt - for example in a video on Facebook.

"During the lockdown in the spring, the Guards showed very successfully that this is possible," said the President a.

D .. That is the chance of the crisis.

Galler is also convinced: "Without a digital presence it is no longer possible, especially not at this carnival." He sees it as his main task "that we become more present in the city and district".

The Lieselotten can be booked on Tel. (01 60) 8 07 81 72.
