The district chairman of the SPD, Hannes Graebner, has announced that he will run for the Bundestag.

He wants to fight against fixed-term employment contracts and for the right to work from home.

After the election is before the election, political parties are probably in agreement on this.

The general assembly of the district SPD combined a review of this year's local elections with an outlook on the upcoming federal election.

There was a personal announcement from the district chairman, which concerns himself.

SPD district chairman Hannes Gräbner announces Bundestag candidacy

In autumn 2021, when the Bundestag is re-elected, Hannes Gräbner also wants to be on the ballot paper.

He announced this on Thursday evening in front of almost 25 comrades in the Otterfinger Hof.

After careful consideration and after talking to his family, he made the decision to throw his hat into the ring again, said the 53-year-old.

Gräbner is chairman of the SPD subdistrict Miesbach and was a candidate in the 2017 election in constituency 223, which includes the districts of Miesbach and Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen.

At that time, the Holzkirchner was able to unite 11.3 percent of the first votes.

Before he is officially considered an SPD candidate, however, his party has to elect him at a constellation at the end of November.

He has not yet heard of any opponent, said Gräbner, but it is possible. In terms of content, he wants to follow up on the last election campaign because many issues have not yet been implemented.

"As the chairman of the works council, I was concerned with classic employee issues," said Gräbner, who works for a media company.

As an example, he cited the unfounded time limit of employment contracts: "It should be abolished."

But he also likes the right to work from home.

This was recently brought into play by Federal Labor Minister Hubertus Heil in order to strengthen employees even after the Corona crisis.

Gräbner considers criticism to be ideological and wrong.

Other corona-related measures would certainly appear in the election campaign, he prophesied.

"We all have to find our way out of the Corona crisis," said the social democrat.

The economic crisis must be mastered in a socially acceptable manner, for example through a wealth tax.

In addition to the prospects for the upcoming election, district chairman Gräbner and the mayor of Otterfingen Michael Falkenhahn presented their assessments of the past local election.

Gräbner was enthusiastic about the "great performance" in the election campaign.

The successes of Robert Kühn in Bad Wiessee and Falkenhahn in Otterfing were particularly mentioned.

Regarding his election success, the latter said: “The concept worked.

My predecessor had a nightmare: It was me. ”But Falkenhahn also looked at the upcoming federal election and recommended to his party:“ We should again be committed to expressing a clear picture of our opinion. ”
