The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch distributed relief materials within the villages of Al-Areesheh area in the southern countryside of Hasaka governorate, as part of the comprehensive response it launched to deliver aid to the people in those areas.

The head of the Crescent branch, Ali Mansour, said in a statement to the SANA reporter that the fourth phase of the comprehensive response activities for the delivery of aid with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross began today to distribute various relief items including food baskets, kitchen utensils, water pail and a solar energy charger, from which 400 families benefited from the villages of West Al-Hana and Al-Madaba And the mother of Raqiba Al Sharqiya.

Mansour pointed out that the distribution operations are currently continuing and are carried out in a comprehensive manner targeting all residents and arrivals to those areas, whether from the northern countryside or the rest of the governorates.

The first phase of the response launched by the Crescent Branch targeted 7,800 families with relief materials in 40 villages, the second phase 17,400 families in 60 villages and population centers, and the third phase 8,055 families in more than 35 villages.
