After a full day of pumping drinking water for the people in the city of Hasaka and its countryside by the Turkish occupation forces and its mercenaries, the operation of the Alouk water station in the northern countryside of Hasaka resumed and the start of pumping water towards the Hama reservoirs, which takes another day for the water to reach the homes.

The director of the Water Corporation in the governorate, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ekla, told SANA's correspondent that 3 horizontal pumps were operated, 13 wells were invested in the Alouk project, and the people of Al-Hasakah and the western countryside were resumed with water according to the applicable rationing program.

SANA's correspondent said earlier today that the Turkish occupation forces and their terrorist mercenaries yesterday cut off water from the city of Hasaka and its western countryside by shutting down the operation of the Alouk water station in the countryside of Ras al-Ain, the main source of drinking water for about one million residents of the city and its surroundings.

The Alouk water project in the eastern countryside of Ras al-Ain is the only source for securing drinking water for about one million people in Hasakah, and in previous periods it was subjected to stoppage due to the attack on the station by the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries.
