The Ministry of Transportation today (Sunday) agreed with their counterparts in the United Arab Emirates on an aviation arrangement, in which 28 weekly flights departed from Ben Gurion Airport to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
The start of flights is scheduled to take place within a few weeks.
The aviation agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates follows the signing of the "Abraham Agreement" at the White House last September.
The aviation agreement, which will be officially signed in the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the next day at Ben Gurion Airport, will allow 28 weekly flights between the United Arab Emirates and Ben Gurion Airport, as well as unlimited charter flights between the Emirates and Ramon Airport near Eilat.
In addition, ten weekly cargo flights between the countries will be allowed.
