Covid-19: nearly 30,000 new cases and 85 deaths in France

France has recorded 29,837 new cases of Covid-19 and 25 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to Public Health France. This is less than the day before when 32,427 cases and 90 deaths had been reported by health authorities. The total number of infections has thus risen since the start of the year to 897,034 cases and 33,477 deaths in France.
