But nothing comes of the good intentions.
First President Franz Hübler announces that the 2020/2021 season has been canceled.
"This decision was certainly not an easy one for anyone, but you also have to face the facts," he says.
The fact is, among other things, that the Kindergarde's appearances mostly take place in kindergartens and old people's homes.
“You are not even allowed to enter these at the moment,” he says.
And the belief that this will change in January or February, the wedding of Mardi Gras, disappears more and more every day.
The main source of income, the flea market, fell away
The same applies to appearances by the youth and the large guard at guard meetings and carnival balls.
In all probability, they may not take place, even if the authorities have not yet officially canceled Mardi Gras 2020.
One thing is certain: "The prince couples, who put a lot of effort and expense into their costumes and dances, have almost no opportunity to show what they have learned."

Not to be forgotten is the financial expenditure that the island of fools has to cope with with costumes, dance trainers and other things.
The club treasury on the island of fools is almost empty, reports Hübler.
For the simple reason that the main source of income, the popular flea market, was not allowed to take place for months due to the current corona rules.
"Unfortunately, for various reasons, the government's immediate Corona aid cannot be used," said Hübler.
The ex-prince couple is ready for official appointments
So the fool island Wolfratshausen only has to look ahead.
The dance units continue to take place every two weeks in order to prepare for the 2021/22 season.
In addition, the island of fools is available for any representative tasks.
The “old” prince couple, consisting of Prince Dominik I and Princess Lisa II, as well as the garden could be available when the cities of Wolfratshausen and Geretsried or other events are planned.
"We are prepared for this at all times, even if one or the other appearance should take place outdoors," said Hübler.
"We could always present the program from the previous year with two Gardeners or the program currently being studied."
