Iraqi forces dismantled a terrorist network and arrested 11 of its members during an operation they carried out in Salah al-Din Governorate, central Iraq.
Alsumaria News quoted the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, as saying in a statement today that "according to accurate intelligence information and intense efforts, a force from the Counter-Terrorism Service carried out an operation to dismantle a terrorist network in Baiji district, north of Salah al-Din Governorate."
Rasoul stated that the operation resulted in the arrest of 11 terrorists and the confiscation of weapons and documents related to them.
Earlier today, Iraqi forces arrested eight ISIS terrorists in Nineveh Governorate, northwest of Iraq.
