The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region voted in a plenary assembly to urgently allocate an envelope of 100,000 euros for the Armenian population.
This sum was allocated to the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) which has already piloted the shipment of ten tons of humanitarian aid intended for the Armenian populations affected by the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Haut- Karabakh.
The aircraft responsible for transporting it took off on October 14 from Lyon.
The load consisted of medicines and medical equipment as well as survival equipment (generators, sleeping bags, survival blankets, warm clothes).
These were exclusively donations collected by the CCAF Center.
