Mexico's President Andrés Manuel López Obrador says a covid-19 test is carried out "usually once a week" to make sure no one is infected.
The Mexican president has not used a mask during his conferences or events since the beginning of the pandemic.
Several members of his cabinet have tested positive for coronavirus.
The Mexican Secretary of the Navy, Admiral Rafael Ojeda, confirmed that he tested positive for covid-19 this Saturday.
