It is amazing to follow the reports of most of the Israeli media on the rapid progress of the implementation of "Abraham Agreements" between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain: the approval of the agreement with the Emirates in the Knesset and the government in Abu Dhabi, the normalization delegation to Bahrain and the inauguration of commercial flights As if it were some annoying background noise that interferes with concentrating on the "main": demonstrations against Prime Minister Netanyahu, and in retrospect against his successful political conception that led to the burial of the "Oslo Accords" and the nuclear agreement with Iran and threatens the "state of all its citizens" .

What is happening in the Middle East in the two months since the dramatic declaration of the "Abraham Agreements" is more than an earthquake. It is a real tectonic rift, reshaping the Middle East after 72 years of unnecessary Arab-Israeli conflict.

Those who are interested in realizing this are invited to watch the discussions of the "Abraham Agreements: A New Regional Order" conference, which will be held tomorrow by "Israel Today", "Ecclesiastical Forum" and "Sheila Forum" and will be broadcast live on the site.

The depth of change in the attitude of many in the Middle East towards Israel is astonishing, almost inconceivable.

And I allow myself to write this, as someone who has experienced first-hand the euphoria of peace of the early 1990s at the Madrid Conference, the peace talks in Washington and the Oslo process.

Today we are witnessing a completely different development: no peace between leaders, no double-tongued tactics and no conspiracy violations - but a radical paradigm shift, promoted by a young generation tired of paying the heavy price of a foreign conflict imposed on it by previous generations.

This is a young generation of emirates, Saudis, Bahrainis, Kuwaitis, Egyptians, Jordanians - most of them highly educated, usually acquired in the US and Europe - where they were first exposed to ties with Jews and Israelis who changed their worldview in relation to the "enemy"; The hopes, disappointments and horrors aroused by the "Arab Spring", and realized that if they want to win more in their lives in a better future - Israel is not the problem, it is part of the solution, not only because of the need to recognize the "other" And in the disasters that the nations of the Middle East have inflicted on themselves with their own hands.

The Palestinian insistence on perpetuating the conflict with Israel at all costs becomes, in the eyes of the younger Arab generation, a symbol of the shackles of the past from which one must disengage in order to move forward.

They are no longer willing to let the Palestinians hold them hostage to please their whims.

In the new Middle East, created before our eyes, Israel is a source of inspiration and the Palestinians are a source of disgust.

Instead of sinking into themselves, Israelis now need to keep their eyes open for what is happening around them, listen to the clear voices heard from all sides and open to the great change.

For decades we have dreamed, wished and fought to become part of our environment.

Now that this is happening, it would be unforgivable to ignore it just because a bunch of bored opportunists want to destroy the "country they stole from."
